The shore fishing hotspot of Hartland Point, near Titchberry, is considered to be one of the better Bass fishing marks in North Devon. For the best chance of catching a good Bass from the shore at Hartland Point, fish at either first or last light.

Recommended baits are Peeler crab and squid for the bigger Bass, but Mackerel and Ragworm are superb all-round baits for a greater variety of species from this shore fishing spot.

Since Hartland Point is primarily a rock fishing mark, expect several of these species to make an appearance during your shore fishing session.

Among other regular visitors to this North Devon venue, Wrasse, Pollack, Mackerel and Garfish are quite common.
